Part of the Story

Can you imagine ad world where you don't have to read a book, but where the book reads itself to you.
Well let me tell you, it can be great fun but it can be really scary. I own a lot of books. I haven't read one, but they've read themselves to me. All the voices, all the sounds. They're incredible, But very, very strange.
You see I live in a world similar to yours, but there are lots of differences. Like self reading books, drawings and paintings that move,statues that walk and talk. Any human created thing can take on a life of it's own.
